We had to share this beautiful project that our client recently completed with King Construction. It’s a gorgeous multifunctional space designed to host both large groups and intimate family gatherings. King Construction provided the architectural and engineering services and we assisted our client with all the finishes, kitchen design, lighting, wet bar, space planning and interior furnishings. It was a true collaborative experience and fun project.
First we’ll share the lower level of the barn which is perfect for intimate family gatherings and hosting out of town guests. Although the façade is a gorgeous stone our client incorporated a few modern touches throughout including these beautiful garage doors that allow the outside in and provide a gorgeous view while relaxing and having a cocktail at the wet bar. And yes, they provide perfect insulation in the winter to keep the space warm and cozy,
The four chair seating plan creates the perfect spot for conversation for two couples to have a drink and discuss the weekend’s dinner plans. The chairs are covered in a cozy and soft boucle fabric with black metal frames to tie in the black of the garage doors.
The wet bar with green cabinetry, butcher block countertops and brass finishes are both sophisticated yet earthy and organic at the same time. I can just picture our clients serving a signature cocktail at their next party right here.
On the other side of the room is a large sectional for lounging and watching netflix or football on the weekends
