We’re back to share more of our ocean front project. We’re going to move to the kids zone. What is the key to a successful lounge space for kids? “Lounge-y” furniture. Large sectionals, poufs, ottomans and lots of soft upholstery made from performance fabrics are vital ingredients.
Below is the kids lounge area in our beach front project. Our clients wanted the space to be colorful, fun but most importantly extremely comfortable.
There’s a large sectional with an upholstered ottoman and several poufs scattered around the room so when friends come over there are plenty of places to sit and hang out.
The opposite side of the room features a wet bar with two mini fridges and an ice maker. We also custom designed this super fun pool table that converts to a ping pong table super easy:)
Such a great spot to play games and have some snacks and just hang out. It feels cool, casual and chill yet chic and stylish. And this isn’t even the best part. When you open the sliders you are greeted by these awesome full-body swings that will make all of your friends jealous!
The view of the ocean is amazing. Once you get into one of these swings you will never want to get out. It’s a great place to nap or read a book or magazine.
To the left of the swings is the indoor/outdoor sectional that is so cozy and deep.
Not a bad view from this spot either. It was such a pleasure to design this space for the nicest family and kids. I can’t wait for summer so I can go back to visit.
If you missed the first leg of the tour you can read all about it here.
Thanks for reading!
