And we’re back at this custom built bank barn located in Chester County, PA. It’s a perfect time of year to visit a party barn as we prepare for Thanksgiving dinner next week.
We’re heading up to the second floor where jeweled-colored green kitchen cabinetry packs a real punch against the timber. The soaring ceilings allow for statement lighting to shine like the overscale black tipped rattan lantern and black and brass pendants over the peninsula. Of course we added a simple farm sink, faded vintage carpet, sophisticated brass fixtures and subzero fridge and wolf range. There will be significant family events happening here over the years: parties, graduations, showers, weddings and it needs to feel elegant and special enough to host them all!
Here’s this little gem of a kitchen from a different angle. The rustic wood counter stools pop against the deep green peninsula. It’s the perfect spot to have a snack before heading over to watch a movie or it’s the perfect place to serve appetizers and drinks . For larger parties it will be used as a catering kitchen and a fancy one at that.
We added a bar top table and stools to accommodate overflow in the kitchen. It’s another spot to relax and have a glass of red wine.
The bar top table has a pretty little sconce above it to create that barn vibe.
This is 3,000 square feet of beautiful barn that has the perfect party vibe, beautiful finishes and ideal circulation and flow for both large parties and small. I’ll be back to share more soon!
