Entry / Family Room / Powder Room
Welcome to Part 2 of our reveal! This striking image is what you see when you open the front door! What a welcome …am I right? The Pennsylvania stone fireplace, coffered ceiling and black interior windows frame out this family room perfectly. Our clients wanted every room of this house to be functional and usable so they gave up the typical living room/dining combination in favor of a large entertaining space that will be used and enjoyed by family and friends.
Our clients eclectic style was super fun to work with so we included vintage pieces, warm woods and lots of texture throughout. All of their lighting choices were unique and on point.
This is the view from the family room into the kitchen… no matter where you are in this house you are included in the party!
One our favorite pieces and jumping off points for the furnishings and accessories was our clients custom made chair she had designed a few years back while on a family vacation.
One last interior room on the first floor we wanted to share is the powder/bath. In addition to the large open spaces above this home has two large adjoining rooms that are used for a homework/craft space and a movie watching lounge room. Sometime in the far off future our clients can turn one of those rooms into a first floor master bedroom with adjoining bath… perfect future planning. Considering how spaces will function and change over time is so important when designing your dream home!
